Ladies and gentlemen, this newly opened spa at the hotel goes above and beyond our expectations! Since we thoroughly loved our aromatherapy session, hence (courtesy to our client) giving one reader a chance to experience the same at Wellness and Massage – Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana. Massage Treatment:

We experienced serenity in a wonderful Couple Massage session. It was an exclusive pampering and unforgettable time we had in their haven of tranquil. We were also impressed to know about the extensive range of restorative and invigorating treatments they offer.

Located on the 2nd floor at the Beach Club, the new Wellness and Massage facility features 6 treatment suites and 2 luxurious relaxation rooms the area is quite spacious. I loved the long alley where you make your way into the Wellness and Massage facility. They kept the lights effect dimmer and the ambiance with wall hangings so serene that you will start getting into the mood of relaxation.  You will indulge in revitalizing treatment thanks to their dedicated team of specialists who will encourage a hale and hearty well-being for both your body and mind, using only premium quality natural products by Aromatherapy Associates London (the leading experts within aromatherapy for over 30 years of experience).

Staff & Therapist:

The staff was so welcoming and supportive and will make you feel immediately comfortable. Upon arrival we were seated in a relaxing area and get to have refreshment and detox juices, plus a warm smile by all the staff!

The masseuses gave the impression that they have a good knowledge and know what they are doing. We have been handed over an information form along with consent where all the required info by therapist has been generated via questionnaire and has been reconcile with us where ever it’s been not clear by our therapist as we conclude and handed over the form.

Then we had been asked to choose the therapy Oil which later used in your treatment and as per them basically you body and mind works together in deciding the aroma connected to the kind of relaxation is required, deep tissue, revive, rejuvenate, anti-stress etc.

Our therapist has guided us to the changing room, well fitted with lockers to keep your essentials while you will change and be prepared for the massage. Changing area is also fitted with the shower and a mirror to dress up after you leave the area. Bath robe and slippers were provided. Afterwards we went to a couple’s therapy treatment room which has been beautifully lit with dimmed yellow soothing effect and is smelling amazing. Beds were cleanly lined and it’s a comfortable head resting you get there.

Throughout the massage time at different intervals, therapist had a check on the level of pressure been applied on different areas. The massage was so relaxing that I even snooze out for some good plenty minutes. This treatment surely altered my mood, cognitive, psychological or physical well-being.

Use of Aromatic Oil in Massage:

The use of essential oils for therapeutic, spiritual, hygienic and ritualistic purposes goes back to a number of ancient civilizations including the Chinese, Indians, Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans who used them in cosmetics, perfumes and drugs along with beliefs of the time regarding their healing properties. All in all we have experienced the perfect Wellness and Massage experience that suits our individual needs and make our visit at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana Abu Dhabi even more treasured. With a range of signature invigorating massage treatments, cleansing scrubs, renewing wraps and facials with customized aromatherapy experiences, it offers a relaxing environment. My aromatherapy massage was firm and relaxing and the oil made skin soft and smell so good. I went back home with serenity and tranquility.
