Pura Vida – A little bit of Brazil shine on Ras-al-Khaimah
It is a place where you can simply coddle your sanity with a taste of Brazilian Churrasco all-you-can-eat-meat, served rodizio style. We were humbly invited to have a special dine-out in a concealed and tranquil spot and sharing this close-to-heart review on Mahi Blog, I would say perfect spot for lovers! beach view restaurant, amazing atmosphere, delightful food, very romantic ambience, and yes definitely need to mention the Brazil strong impact of churasscos.
It is located in the vicinity of Hilton Ras al Khaimah Resort & Spa (Click HERE for full Hotel review) at another end of the private bay. You can reach in buggy from the hotel main entrance just need to request at concierge and it shall be arranged shortly.
This wasn’t my first time to dine in Brazilian cuisine. I actually went to one in region earlier and was actually pleased with the food, ambiance and service. This time around, we tried even more variety blend in with great concepts. We were welcomed and greeted by the restaurant’s manager and were asked for our stay and then warmly showed us around the restaurant and asked us if we wish to sit in or out, we pointed a sopt outside under some light fixed near trees and it seems so appealing, they asked us to give few minutes and made it ready. As soon as we were seated in the open area outside (yes, they arranged it in 4 minutes literally!) of the restaurant, we were given this fresh bread slab along with their very yummy butter, which my little munchkins devoured! The table was thoughtfully laid with white bright lamp on our table, and the staff were friendly. Our attendant that night explained to me the whole concept of churrasco, what are they made of. Then we started off with some soup and friend shrimps.
Our petite niggle was the lack of music outside. We felt the ambiance suffered and it was possible to hear the conversations of the other diners, even though there is plenty of room between the tables and it’s very spacious.
Staff will bring to your table on sword-like skewers (the idea we simply loved) They will give you this cylinder wooden block colored Red & Green in half. If green is atop you will keep getting fresh, hot, flaming, charcoal aroma churassco’s non-stop. If you need a break invert to show the red colour and they shall wait till you go green again 😉
What an amazing night,! overall it was a very very enjoyable and best experience we have had so far for Brazilian cuisine, with lots of Churasscos to be savored we’re sure to be back again with more hungry stomach to relish a scrumptious pour-in of succulent char-grilled cuts under stars and seeing the full-moon reflection over Arabian Gulf. Pura Vida it is ! We will be back.
A generous à la carte menu is also available.
It is the traditional Brazilian custom of cooking various cuts of seasoned meats (Chicken wings, legs / Beef / Lamb) over an open fire. This style of cuisine is known in Brazil as churrascaria; meaning “house of barbecue”. It is tradition that is more than four centuries old in Brazil. This original and unique way of roasting meat conserves the characteristic taste of each portion leaving the cuts full of its own natural juices and flavours.
