My Blog - I love UAE  My Blog - I love UAE (2)

I have so many spread-out memories that will remain with me forever and I will treasure these moments which I have spent in this beautiful country for the last 6 years mashallah. I thank the respective Authorities & Government for all the wonderful things they have done and made this beautiful place a happy place for all of us to live and making us a proud resident of UAE. I adore the structure and respect UAE for their heritage keeping and safeguards , we simply love the life style from desert safari to jet ski-ing, off-roading to quad biking, concerts, shopping and themed festivals especially Ramadan in UAE & recent sitting out at Corniche and watching the Yasalam movies at the sea and stars.  I believe UAE is a land of opportunities and luck, people who landed with nothing have achieved something here SubhanAllah.

Moreover every human is respected  here and considered very special for bearing the kind of talent he has. It’s the most peaceful country!! Which makes it just-like-motherland for so many expats 🙂 I have special memories and association with UAE as I had my kids, started off my family and my professional career with full swing over this land. We enjoy each National day celebration with the same spirit of Union and our kids enthusiasm for the day each year make it even more special.

My Blog - I love UAE (4)

♥ I love UAE and on this auspicious day of celebrating 42 years of success and tranquility, I wish you all & the whole nation a very happy 43rd National day 🙂

The FaceShop “Natural Story”- November Glambox Arrived 

The FaceShop “Natural Story”- November Glambox Arrived 

I am a true natural ingredients fan and Glambox can’t be any better for me than this, customized by Face Shop products it has genuinely brought this true natural story to my daily beauty regime. I swear by aloevera it’s one ingredients I saw my grandmother using it since I was so small and is recommended by my mom always as a true skin moisturizing element, so I can’t wait to use the real natural mast Aloe from my glambox this month.

DSC_0642There is no better care for the lips than natural colors and therapy that’s why Mango seed lip care gives that true redness to your lips and “pomy” shine due to natural ingredient pomegranate. It’s already been hogged by my little princess and goes to her kitty bag for winter special care.

The 3 steps real whitening system is indeed a great package, promising by its white seed complex and vitamin C along with brightening ingredients it leaves your skin milky white, my only concern is the dryness factor after constant use of it, but to help that the toner and essence is a great support, I wish I will get the desired results in few weeks time.

The Eco-friendly, Natural SunEco Sample Kit is so handy at this shift over in weather in UAE, where I wanna enjoy the sun while not hiding out my face, you must try their complete range as this campaign will help supporting the protection of our environment and the portion of the sales proceeds will go to Environmental Organization.

Last is the oh-so-fruity berry mix hand cream, I just can’t stop smell-tang my hands for over15  minutes after putting this magical application on my hands. It leaves the hands and cuticles smooth.

In Abu Dhabi, we really miss out on events where you get food, entertainment and music altogether in on open arena, surprisingly this November has witnesses the mega foodieland which provide bounty time to each member of family, be it kids or Adults, I am talking about Taste of ABU DHABI, held for the first time in capital; the team has potentially worked day and night to make the event successful, and indeed what an eye-witnessed gala it was.

DSC_0681  20141108_185633

The event has yet a lot of activities; It started with a bash and has definitely finished up with a huge successful 3 non-stop days of best food tasting and fun experience. A true delight for the families, I have been invited for Taste Of Dubai last year it was lovely experience indeed as well, but what I like at #TasteAD more this time was the location of the stalls and arena set-up was in such a synch manner that you hardly miss any area and can roam around without getting tired and lost. The family zone this time was such an added benefit, #Vox Cinemas kid’s movie sessions was highlight and of course the Kids area made our children so happy. My expectations from this foodieland goes vava voom with some of the best names in dine out industry are serving the mouth watering dishes, varying from the Italian and Belgian to pure Indian cuisine they had the wide range and array of choice to serve the masses in Capital, even the portions I have experienced this event are bigger to their previous venture. Every item was made to fresh order and offers the aroma which you can’t resist.

Lets come to the food, I can just go on and on as by far it will be the longest blog as its about the best restaurants tasting and sampling their delicacies in town, and as my royal responsibility being a foodie is to indulge in the maximum possible way I could 😉 I must say the portion and cost ratio was very well this time. Some of my favorite which topped the lists are Yakhni Biryani from Ushna; Oh the so sufficient portion was the best part of it and the aroma of exquisite Indian spices, can’t wait to go back and be more adventurous and try their other dishes.

N 20141106_212046

Flooka’s Tabbouleh is very fresh and the addition of cilantro and lime juice gave that zest and it maintained the ratio. Nolu’s Café Chapli Burger was my favorite discovery in Afghan-American cuisine and I definitely categorized their Chapli burger in health food options. I am not a ginger fan and that too with fish, but believe me as a friend advised I had actually tasted Tuna with ginger dressing form Turquoiz and it was awesome.

I couldn’t stop gushing and raving about TNT Shrimp from Caramel restaurant for so many days since I got back from TasteAD as they so tender and juicy, and surely act like dynamite once it enters your mouth and dribble your tastebuds to have more of them, I could even feel the crispiness from the chili mayo coat on it.

Lovable sugary & Sweet TREATS:
Tiramisu by Carluccio is yet authentic and the most flavorsome sweet, My personal favorite were Holland House Mini Pan cakes, You can’t judge them by size till you get mouthful of those awesome goodies along with your favorites Nutella or White chocolate flooding over with sugar dust. Yas water world were so generous to offer different fruit slushies and Pink and Blue cotton candy.

Chef’s Theatre was another highlight of the event which is more like Live Cooking demonstrations, so much informative and full of interaction with the Master Chefs and audience, It offer wide knowledge from an inspiring line-up of Chef’s including Eric Lanlard, Jun Tanaka, Steven Edwards and Food Network’s Reza Muhummad and Jonathan Phang.

20141106_214202 20141106_213635 20141106_212107 20141106_212039 20141106_193954

It was such an exclusive opportunity to see my favorite chefs in action – featuring demos, culinary challenges, entertaining tutorials and enlightening Q & A session, and guess what I had a chance to encounter Chef Raza vivid humor and Chef June flamboyant personality via these sessions. Hmm if Cooking is Cricket Pitch then Chefs are brilliant all rounder aren’t they!!! 🙂

20141106_194506  20141106_194238

Apart from this there were large numbers of exhibitors at the show. India Palace, Jones the grocer, Knorr and Maggie were some of my favourites..Cookery School displayed provided a chance to Learn the secrets to making life easier in the kitchen with a number of hands-on Master Classes, where chefs taken you through the step-by-step processes and passed on all the required tips and tricks you needed, and I did impress my friends and family at home in no time by decorating those Couture Cupcakes later on!

DSC_0656 20141106_194105

On the first night of the event it was a musical spectacular, The Jersey Boys, as they took the crowd on a rock and roll journey.

Last but not the least, were the happening Photo Booth of SPG and Evian breeze water background display, it’s a bounty time for a selfie-addict and the family to bring along with them lots of memories from this all in all perfect event.

I wish they will come back soon in 2015 or If I may suggest to have it twice in a year 🙂

Family Fun – Big Weekend at ZSC

DSC_0514 DSC_0492 DSC_0505

The Big Weekend at Zayed Sports City was one of the most fun and active kids and family festival of the year! There were countless activities from sports and recreation to arts and crafts and bouncies. The minimal entry fee opened the door to participate in myriad activities throughout the day.

HIT Amongst the Kids: Bouncies and inflatable’s was surely covering the large area and truly engaged the kids of various ages along with their parent to have  a lot of fun and smiley faces.

DSC_0604 DSC_0601 DSC_0599 DSC_0587

The live stage activities and competition were fun too, in my personal opinion the most engaging and well handled zone was Petting Zoo, from a 8 months old baby to 60 years old man each and every one was enjoying petting the most adorable pets they have, I clicked some of the best moments little ones had with snake, parrot, ducks, rabbits and turtles.

Kids from across the region even competed for the title of “Abu Dhabi’s Fittest Kid”, which was open to all ages as they battled for the coveted prize.

Kids were also accessing and been taken to the pitches or courts for football, tennis, rugby, basketball and a golf simulator. All equipment were provided by Zayed Sports City. The biky and other cycles were also at the venue in big area for the family of 4, 2 and even solo show.

Adventure HQ climbing wall was a fear for me though but the brave youngsters were continuously trying to hold on to that specially when they were been challenged by a local radio station covering at the event.

DSC_0584 DSC_0506 DSC_0544

An art station was be set up infront of food stalls where kids put together mask to become heroes, princesses, animals or aliens, or make their own handicrafts and take them home. While we nibbles on out refreshments the art staff helped to get kids engaged in their creativity exercises.

The Big Weekend was perfect for those young at heart, but I noticed parents and teens did not feel left out of the fun.

For myself and other parents we challenged ourselves on a obstacle races and bungee run.  Spot-on was a marketplace where they sell items such as handmade jewellery and other goods from local artisans my favorite stall was Pottery Kreation..

 DSC_0570 DSC_0571 Big WeekendDSC_0578 DSC_0576 DSC_0573

We also witnessed few Stilt-walkers and cartoon characters appearances. Other entertainment on the schedule included skaters in Sumo suits taking to the ice and a band playing Arabic music. A traditional village that guests can visit will display Emirati bedouin life and how life has changed in the Emirates over the years.

I would sum it as a weekend of entertainment for everyone in the family at a reasonable price will bring plenty of smiles. All in all at Big Weekend there is something to entertain everyone!

Giveaway Teaser !! – Solving Burger Crime – BURGER BUREAU

Giveaway Teaser !! – Solving Burger Crime – BURGER BUREAU

Giveaway Teaser !!

We will announce a Mystery prize tonight ! (

Are you ready to solve the Burger Crime only at BURGER BUREAU

Watch out our channels:

DSC_0436Burger Review : For me, the burgers are a non-fussy result of nonstop experimentation to pull off a superb level of flavor and quality.

Recently I have reviewed another Burger spot in town, BURGER BUREAU! I love the venue and the ambiance, located at the prime hub of the City in AL-WAHDA Mall extension, on the 2nd floor, you will reach there in no time if you go from the entrance adjacent to main city bus terminal.

I loved the Photo collage wall, yes it has all those happy faces enjoying their meal at Burger bureau, it will take you some time finding yours incase you have visited earlier,

but you will surely see it there and its ever expanding wall captures all that enthralling fun and great time you will have there, so carry that great smile always, you might encounter a staff coming at the end of meal and asking you to say cheese to the camera if you wish to do so 🙂

DSC_0476 DSC_0552 DSC_0439

My kids simple loved their meal and left the place smiling holding balloons.

The Burger Investigation 😉

Quality beef is where it starts with a cheeseburger. In the case of BB, the beef was highly sourced from Premium Angus Beef. While the blend was proprietary, it tasted and felt like a blend of Brisket, Sirloin, and a bit of Chuck. The beef was richly beefy with a strong presence of flatten and complex steak flavors.

The MEGA-ounce patty was perfectly juicy. It delivered a savory rush of wet awesDSC_0503omeness with each bite believe me. The texture of the each burger was lush and dense while presenting just the right amount of chewy resistance. The grind was Medium-Fine, which contributed to the luxuriousness of the bite.

The quality of the beef was simply exemplary and as good as any of the best burgers that I have sampled.

Cheesy Seasoning:

Cheeses was gooey and provide this creaminess to each bite, Salt and pepper were applied liberally, and in perfect proportion, to the exterior of the thick, home-made style burger patty.

DSC_0495Layering & Sear:

The beef was very juicy, so flavorful and well-seasoned and this resulted in a crisp sear.

PARTNER IN CRIME – A Well Sorted Bun:

The bun was a show stopper, The Meat To Bun Ratio was simply flawless. It was moderately yeasty and just a little savory. The bun was otherwise relatively invisible, and it got out of the way to let the spectacular beef be the star of the show. The bun was nicely done and it lent a bit of crispness to the edge bites.

One must try their “Most Wanted” Burgers, i-e 007, The Chopper and The Steak Out.

CSC_0577CSC_0499The price is justified for the portion they will offer. Its one of the most giant burger I had so far and trust me I am talking about the regular one, wait till you know their burger challenge yes it’s held at the venue very often and you can take part in the same and its quite fun actually.

I don’t plan on returning to commit burger crime this week though, but I am glad to know that there is a notable Burger crime bureau waiting for me when I show up.
